60ml cream cheese
Handful of watercress
Butter or margarine (optional)

Butter the bread (optional)

Spread the bread with cream cheese

Lay the watercress on each slice of bread

Top with balsamic mushrooms

Drizzle with pan juices

For the balsamic mushrooms:

Melt the butter in a pan, brown the mushrooms, season with salt and pepper

Add the balsamic vinegar and simmer until the vinegar reduced
