Go-To Gourmet Hot Dogs
Made with Albany Superior Best of Both White Rolls
- Place the vinegar, ginger and sugar into a small non-metallic bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the onion rings and toss to combine. Allow to stand for at least 20 minutes before draining and using.
- Cook the hot dogs according to package instructions. Place a hot dog in each roll and top with some tomato sauce and mustard, according to your liking.
- Top with a few gherkin slices, some of the reserved pickled onion rings, tomato and herb leaves.
- Add any or many of the optional extras, if desired and serve at once.
